Actress and long-time animal advocate, Lina Esco urges immediate action to address the animal cruelty and tragic loss of life uncovered by ARM's investigation and calls for the protection of horses from being butchered for their meat.

Background of issue:
Racehorses are ending up in the black-market horse meat trade, and ARM is the only organization on the ground infiltrating and addressing these violent crimes.

ARM's operatives have captured never-before-seen footage of this violent crime with the murder of Funny Biz, a tattooed, registered thoroughbred, who endured a grueling death as she gasped for her last breaths before being shot, stabbed, and butchered alive.

BREAKING NEWS
Two more arrests have been made in ARM's Animal Cruelty case from Larson Dairy Farm in Okeechobee, Florida, thanks to the determined Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office.

May 21, 2018, Juan Carrasco and Juan Carlos Hernandez were arrested for (Tormenting Deprive Mutilate Kill) under Florida Statute 828.12 Cruelty to Animals.
These arrests followed the release of ARM's 2017 undercover investigation into animal cruelty. The charges are 1 Cruelty To Animals. Warrants had been issued May 5, 2018, for Carlos and Hernandez arrest by the 19th Judicial Circuit in Okeechobee County, Florida by Honorable Judge Jerald Bryant.

We would like to thank all of the individuals involved for their cooperation and would also like to thank our law enforcement officers at the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office, for their efforts on this case as we work together to bring justice to these milking cows, their calves, and citizens of Okeechobee.
