Community Outreach
Over the past few years, as ARM garners more recognition and respect for it’s accomplishments, members and companies within the community and throughout the nation have offered to support the organization and its mission. The relationships between those in ARM’s backyard has proved not only an honor but at times of large scale animal rescue, an asset.
Recently ARM succeeded in the largest known animal rescue of 2015 known as the Coco Farm Raid. Due to the astronomical number of animals that ARM rescued, companies such as Purina, veterinarian supply companies and Whole Foods supermarket stores provided critical supplies and daily abundances of fresh produce and food for the animals.
Many of these companies have repeatedly given support to ARM through community programs such as Whole Foods 5% day, Griffs Feed Store Customer Appreciation day, The Miami Foundation’s GIVE MIAMI DAY, James Perse ‘Save the Wild Horses’ Campaign, David Yurman fundraising events as well as nominations from leading artists through charity nomination competitions such as the Modern Luxury Magazine’s $5000 donation event. These are simply a few community support programs that the local community is generous to offer to aid ARM in continuing it’s investigations.
