VIP Animal Sales, located just 30 minutes drive South from the hub Miami Beach, staged a torture farm for animals who were at the mercy of heartless, criminal animal cruelty offenders, drug & weapons dealers, convicted horse killers and even a pedophille who at the time of the investigations was working within feet of children under the age of 8 years of age.
Aside from the health & safety dangers and crimes towards the community that were taking place on this property, animals were suffering some of the cruelest deaths, often (and documented) whilst still alive.
During a grueling eight months of undercover investigations ARM documented horrific treatments upon animals including goats, rabbits, chickens and sheep who were subjected to being slaughtered alive for human consumption as well as the sales for animal sacrifice ceremonies.
On the morning of June 19th, 2013 and as a result of our concrete evidence, ARM along with The Miami Dade State Attorney’s office and local law enforcement, raided VIP farms. Four arrests of violent animal killers and criminals were executed upon ; Andre Martinez (Paedophile), Jesus Navarro (convicted horse killer), Juan M Bazan and the most dangerous, twisted, multi convicted criminal – Daniel ‘Cuvita’ Lombana (animal killer).
All four offenders are now facing severe imprisonment in the coming months. All 100 animals were recovered at this raid, some who were destined to be sacrificed at an on site live ceremonial sacrifice on the day of the raid. One of the offenders (Lombana) horses had to be euthanized because of severe health degradation, neglect and an incurable hoof disease.
The remaining animals were taken to sanctuaries across Florida where they received treatment for severe malnutrition, starvation and illnesses. They now live out their days as nature intended.
ARM’s goal with Operation Sector 9 investigation’s is to challenge the current status of ‘acceptable’ forms of treatment of animals intended for religious sacrifice and the proper handling during transportation and holding prior to trading.

VIP Illegal Slaughter Farm Raid and Rescue Video
The Proenza Farm investigation and animal rescue was the second raid of a two part series of ARM’s leading investigation into Operation Sector 9. This operation involved the exposing of some of Miami’s most brutal underground animal traders for religious sacrifice. This ‘business’ was owned and operated by a father & son team identified as Leonardo Dumenigo and Yainiel Proenza. Both men were not only trading animals for sacrifice but were slaughtering animals for human consumption using some of the most inhumane methods known including being butchered, water boarding, skinned and hoisted up for butchering whilst still alive.
The main, lucrative business upon Proenza Farms was the open trading of animals for the purpose of religious sacrifice. The animals were prepared after their sale, by tying their legs together tightly with duct tape or rope and thrown inside unventilated trunks of cars for transportation. This itself is a serious felony charge of animal cruelty in the State of Florida.
The Proenza Farm was raided by Miami’s local law enforcement, the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office and other official governmental departments in the span of seven days following the VIP Animal Sales Raid. On the day of the raid, over 550 animals were rescued and placed in permanent, loving homes throughout Florida. On the property several cock fighting roosters were also confiscated and are currently undergoing rehabilitation programs.
Both Yaniel Proenza and Leonardo Dumeningo were charged with several serious felonies including animal cruelty resulting in death. Their cases are currently pending and scheduled to face judgement in 2014.
