Our lil Drumstick came to ARM during an undercover cock fighting investigation. Operatives purchased him as a fighting rooster and bought him back to the Sanctuary. He got the name Drumstick because of his ‘naked’ shaved appearance when he arrived.
After months of rehabilitation (and a new coat of feathers) and exercises under the guidance of The Vine Sanctuary in Vermont who cater to rehabbing cock fighters, Drumstick now has his own little family that he roams around with.
It is an amazing accomplishment to rehab a fighting rooster like Drumstick as the mentality is that the only solution is euthanasia.
Drumstick now loves his ladies and watermelon snacks at sunset.
